On April Fool’s Day, YouTube decided to get a little nostalgic and reveal to its visitors what the hub would have looked like if it had been created back in 1911.
The promotional video below is a retro-style re-make of the most popular YouTube videos. To give it the look and feel of the beginning of the 20th century, the producers muted it videos and added a piano soundtrack. However, it features cameo appearances of today’s most recognized YouTube characters, such as Crazy Orange, Rickroll, and Keyboard Cat.
Remember that any time you want you may get back to the future, just follow the links in the video description to see the contemporary versions of the virals.
Another great news comes just in time from Google Mail. Google has launched a new gmail-incorporated project entitled ‘Gmail Motion’ introducing a whole new way to control your computer and working with email: by controlling it with your gestures and body moves. Throw your mouse and keyboard where they belong—into a dustbin. And learn more at gmail.com/motion
What’s interesting about the last video is that normally Google releases new exciting projects at a truly unbelievable pace. So, what happens to be an All Fool’s Day prank today may turn out to be a serious project few months later.
Please stay updated. The rest of our today’s news are going to be serious. I am not joking.
