Ziggurat Brands is a London-based brand design consultancy, whose works has previously been published on Popsop since 2008.

The agency has 25 years of experience working with both entrepreneurial and global brands and has won a vast array of awards including the coveted DBA Design Effectiveness Award.

The flour market had become as stale as week-old bread. The resurgent interest in real baking, cooking from scratch and healthy eating, allowed us to help Allinson completely rejuvenate an entire sector by demonstrating the craft inherent in their products and the heritage of Thomas Allinson’s pioneering philosophy of food.

Nestled in a village near the heart of the Cotswolds, the bottlegreen factory has been crafting a range of soft drinks for 21 years. Unfortunately for most of those 21 years that’s exactly what it looked like—a bit ‘own-labelly’, a bit more suited to a Farmer’s Market than a supermarket. One iconic, sophisticated redesign later and it’s now confident, aspirational and leaves a real impression.

Burgen bread looked like you needed a prescription from your doctor to buy it. Worthy and dull, it was ‘healthy’ in the sense that if it’s painful it must be doing you good. Truth be told, it’s really delicious and by giving it vitality, highlighting flavour and revealing how it harnesses the power of natural ingredients, we made it look both mouth-watering and good for you…

What is there not to love about pudding? Comforting and warming and absolutely crammed with calories – the perfect night in. Our brief was to connect the rich, luscious nature of the product to the consumer looking for relaxed indulgence and a lovely big pot of pleasure.
