Giving support to cutting-edge artists, designers and photographers for over 30 years long, the Absolut Vodka brand still continues its tradition of creative collaborations.

Great news for all who consider themselves young ‘Absolut’ geniuses! The brand has established a yearly award of Euro 15.000 to encourage young talents to explore creativity. The Absolut Art Award jury is headed by Daniel Birnbaum — professor and principal of the Stadelschule in Frankfurt, and Director of the Visual Arts Sector at the Venice Biennale 2009.

The first Ceremony already took place at Lydmar Hotel in Stockholm. The lucky winner is a 32-year old Israeli artist Keren Cytter, who currently lives and works in Germany.

Headed by Daniel Birnbaum, the Absolut Art Award jury also consists of Thomas Nordanstad, filmmaker and curator, Anna Malmhake, Vice President Global Marketing, The Absolut Company and Goran Lundqvist, Chairman of the board at Sweden’s Historical Museum of Wine & Spirits.

It is planned that the future juries are to include the most recent winner of the ABSOLUT Art Award.
