ASOS Black x PUMA Collection Celebrates Brazilian Graffiti Art

ASOS Black label and PUMA have teamed up for creative collaboration on a common collection ASOS Black x PUMA, which launches on September 25.

“Clean, cool, a classic in the making—ASOS Black x PUMA is original sportswear,” says ASOS commenting on the new range of the apparel for both men and women.

The collaborative brands have also created a short film titled, Os Pixadores—this is the name of the pioneering Brazilian graffiti team. The film is a part of the new upcoming ad campaign celebrating street art in Sao Paolo, Brazil, a home to world-renowned twin brothers artists Os Gemeos.

“Their unique blend of cultural comment and guerilla street art is the perfect embodiment of ASOS Black x PUMA’s approach to modernised classics and innovative design,” according to ASOS.

The lookbook was shot by the famous photographer Jamie Morgan and the models were chosen in an unusual manner. The lookbook features talented young people who work in the fields of sculpture, graffiti and graphic design.

The 40-piece collection features well-cut slim and modernized sportswear classics ranging from gilets and blazers  to T-shirts and knitwear and featuring ASOS Black x PUMA accessories such as bags, hats and belts.

This September PUMA is launching another collaborative collection, with MINI, the BMW‘s iconic brand.
