BACARDI® introduces its latest flavor innovation, BACARDI® TORCHED CHERRY™. Combining the rich, bold taste of Barbados cherries with the light, smooth infusion of Torch Plant aloe, BACARDI TORCHED CHERRY flavored rum is a refreshing spirit with a distinguished taste.

Torch Plant aloe is a succulent, nectar-rich ingredient indigenous to South Africa. It pairs ideally with Barbados cherries, also known as Acerola, a fruit that has recently received considerable attention for its versatility and sweet, robust flavor.

BACARDI TORCHED CHERRY packaging features a unique label with a bold cherry design and premium packaging that emphasizes the exceptional look and taste of these tropical ingredients. With a suggested retail price of $13.99 for a 750–ml bottle, the 35% alcohol-by-volume rum also comes in 50ml., 200-ml., 375-ml., 1-liter and 1.75-liter sizes.

The launch will be supported nationally with print advertising, digital, off-premise POS and public relations. This Barbados cherry rum infused with Torch Plant Aloe will be available nationwide beginning in April 2010.
