Beefeater Gets inside London with the New Limited Edition Bottle

This summer, due to the London 2012 Summer Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, a range of brands got a touch of britishness. London, as the epicenter for this summer events, has become the major source of inspiration for designers—the style, culture and history of the capital are the trending themes of the new packaging designs. Beefeater, which is originally a London product, highlighted its connection with the capital by launching the Beefeater Inside London Limited Edition bottle, designed by Coley Porter Bell.

The brand, which released the Forever London limited edition pack earlier this year, continues the exploration of the city’s iconic style and pays tribute to one of iconic features of London’s personality: the Yeoman Warder. The transparent silhouette of Tower of London’s guard on the front of the bottle is filled with various vibrant images, which represent the multiple layers of London’s identity (fashion, green gardens, Union Jack palette, etc.). The new design on the red bottle represents a riot of colours within the iconic symbol—this mirrors the city’s rebellious nature, which gets organically embedded into the historical environment.

The limited edition bottle of gin with an ABV of 40% will be available across 25 markets through the end of 2012, the www.gintime.com website reports. The new bottle, which “combines London’s mix of classic regal chic and rebellious eccentricity” is a great piece to be added to the memorabilia collection dedicated to the huge events, which have already taken place and are still to be hosted in London this summer.
