BMW Preparing to Launch the Sixth Generation 3 Series in Australia

BMW Australia has launched a socializing project for its 3 Series fans. People can submit photos of themselves and their BMW vehicles to the automaker’s Facebook page and participate in the competition.

The competition is a part of the new sixth generation BMW 3 Series launch campaign. The vehicles launch in Australia in February making the competition winner one of the first people in the country to experience the new car. Now BMW promotes its vehicles under the new slogan: ‘The ultimate driving machine’.

The older the photo is, the better for the participant as BMW searches for the oldest fans. Another necessary rule is the Australian location on the photo as the winning photo will be recreated at its original location. The winner will also have a chance to use the new 3-Series for one month and visit a BMW Driver Training course with ex racing champion and Chief Driver Trainer Geoff Brabham.

Five lucky runner ups will receive products from BMW life-style collection and have their photos recreated.

“We are sure our owners will have aged as gracefully as the BMW 3 Series and are excited to see how both our customers and our cars have evolved over the years,” said BMW Group Australia General Manager— Sales and Marketing, Tom Noble.

Drivers can submit till 30 March 2012 and the winners will be announced on 5 April.
