The store reflects a modern urban citizen’s need in sustainable mobile vehicles. London is the first city in the world to feature the BMW i because it is one of the most important Europe’s trendsetting megalopolis.

Ian Robertson, Member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, Sales and Marketing BMW said at the preview event: “BMW i Park Lane marks a completely new approach. Situated next to BMW Park Lane and MINI Park Lane, it gives people a perfect opportunity to learn more about electromobility and get close to our future electric and plug-in hybrid BMW i vehicles. This is a further demonstration of our commitment to electromobility.”

The store will showcase an advanced version of the BMW i3 Concept with an interior that uses sustainable natural materials as well as the BMW i8. The both models were presented last year. The BMW i3 will be available to customers from late 2013 and the BMW i8 in 2014.

It can be easily folded and packed into the i3’s trunk where it can also be recharged.
