Today, September 15, the Japanese brand of cameras Canon has launched a multi-channel three-year campaign «Come and See» across the EMEA region.
Acknowledging the fact that people use expensive and bulky professional photo and video equipment more rarely, switching to ubiquitous and more affordable smartphones, the manufacturer emphasizes that some moments of life need to be captured with better quality and more thoughtfully.
Two spots created by JWT London and produced by Academy Films, introduce the viewers to some strange scenes shot on Canon cameras. The first spot features players of Calcio Storico, an ancient violent form of European football played in Florence, Italy. The second 1-minute spot show a herd of deer that explore residential areas near Epping Forest in south-east England.

The «Come and See» campaign will roll out across print, digital platforms and TV (on Fox channel in the UK). The social-media part of the integrated effort will invite UK users to share their photos and learn about Canon technology through a dedicates site «Come and see» (to be up soon).
