CB’a Graell Redesigns the Image of Vidago Water

Spanish office of CB’a Graell, owned by WPP, developed a new identity for the Vidago water to give the bottle an upscale and majestic look and help the brand stand out among other competitors in the category.

Vidago is naturally carbonated water, which is extracted from within the grounds of the town Vidago, which used to be one of the most famous Portuguese spas. The redesign coincided (and in a certain way was dedicated to) the reopening of the grand Vidago Palace hotel near Oporto. With the objective to communicate naturalness, elegance, and wealthy living and health, as well as aligning the product with the hotel, both the label and the volume were redesigned.

A distinctive silhouette enriched with the engraving ‘VP’ that takes us back to the origins of the water, and a minimalist black and silver label sums up to create a water that when consumed, becomes an indirect way of experiencing the Vidago Palace Hotel.
