Coca-Cola is delighted to announce that it has today strengthened its relationship with London 2012 with the announcement that its sponsorship will extend to the Paralympic Games. This exciting new partnership will help Coca-Cola deliver its ambition to inspire more people to get active and help promote sport for all in the lead up to London 2012.
Coca-Cola has been a proud supporter of the Paralympic Movement since Barcelona in 1992, and has focused on driving awareness about the Games to consumers through numerous advertising initiatives. The Company has also been involved in the Olympic Movement since 1928, and is the longest continuous sponsor of the Olympic Games.
Coca-Cola is a strong supporter of London 2012’s Singapore promise which pledged to connect young people throughout the UK and across the globe through the inspirational power of sport, and aims to use its sponsorship of the Paralympic Games to get more young people active, regardless of their physical ability.
