The Coka-Cola’s Facebook community is helping turn Copenhagen into Hopenhagen and contributing into the “green” projects. From December 7-18 world leaders will gather at the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen to discuss environmental issues and help deal with the global climate crisis. Coca-Cola is encouraging its fans to participate in the movement and share information about green actions with their friends and local leaders with the help of the eco-application.
Anyone registered on Facebook can get a Hopenhagen Passport and start earning stamps for making the world a better place to live. By promoting the campaign, inviting friends, signing the UN Climate Petition, etc. Facebookers earn points determining the ranking and make positive changes happen. The most active users of the community, the top point earners, win T-shirts featuring the project’s logo and will be able to wear it and proudly declare their Hopenhagen citizenship. As for now there are 9,600+ green passports carrying 27,000+ stamps.
Coca-Cola prompts its consumers to take active actions for saving the world. The giant soft drinks maker adopts sustainability policies and supports a wide range of green innovations on a regular basis.
