Denizen, the jeanswear brand created by Levi Strauss & Co. back in 2010, is announcing a new global campaign dubbed ‘We Are Explorers,’ which will see several ambassadors of the brand travelling across the globe and collecting creative inspirations. Levi’s is known for its love for journeys, exploring distant countries and getting new experiences (Levi’s Roadwear and Levi’s Norte a Sur: Una Ruta, 5 Experiencias project prove it), and has ‘transplanted’ this affection onto its child brand.
Earlier this year, the brand issued a call for young adventurers, who would like to visit different countries as part of Denizen’s team, and on the last day of January it closed the competition, now the selection process is running, and the lucky winners will be announced by the end of February. “Later this month, six lucky people from different cultures will be selected for what promises to be the journey of a lifetime. The lucky six will travel in pairs in search of creative inspiration for a future range of limited edition Denizen jeans. On the itinerary, places like the Great Wall, the Taj Mahal and Tulum’s Spring Equinox. They could find themselves celebrating the Jaipur Holi Festival, playing fire hockey in Oaxaca or participating in a kung fu action movie in Shanghai,” comments Levi’s on its official site. So far, the official Facebook fan page of the brand is offering users to click on the World Explorers tab for a chance to win cash and prizes, the Denizen is giving away a total of $10,000. To participate and win, you have to invite FB friends—the more, the better.
