«Dr Pepper Snapple Group has long entrusted treasured artifacts and the history of many of its brands to the Museum,» said Larry Young, president and CEO, Dr Pepper Snapple Group. «The continued success of the Museum is instrumental in telling our brands’ stories now, and for generations to come.»

Dr Pepper was invented in 1885 in Waco, Texas, and is America’s oldest major soft drink. As the historic home of the brand, the Museum plays a special role in helping preserve the history of Dr Pepper and other soda brands. Originally founded in 1989, today the Museum educates and entertains the general public through the collection, preservation, interpretation and exhibition of objects relevant to the history of the soft drink industry. Located in Waco, Texas, the Museum attracts more than 60,000 visitors each year.
