Yesterday, February 10, 2010, Fiat launched a unique online campaign dedicated to Fiat Bravo. To ‘heat up’ the consumer’s interest in the new model and demonstrate its dynamism as well as steering response, Fiat Brazil is calling all those interested in learning more about the new model to enjoy a test drive experience… online!
The idea was to engage visitors in the driving experience using Google Maps technology. First, those willing to join the test drive shall register on the project hub at www.realmap.fiat.com.br. Secondly, the participants will mark their daily routes which are to be projected with help of the high-performance projection equipment on the floor of the warehouse, where a pilot-driven Fiat Bravo is to follow the beam of the projected light pointing the route at an impressive speed.
By visiting the above-mentioned website, the users will be able to see the live broadcast of the experience via webcam. In course of the campaign, Fiat plans to take about 100 user-generated routes.
