Fiat to release 2014 Fiat 500c GQ Edition for men in style

Fiat has teamed up with GQ Magazine, owned by the international magazine publisher Condé Nast, to launch the new 2014 Fiat 500c GQ Edition. The latest convertible car is bringing together Italian passion for life and the sophisticated style of gentlemen who like to wear their sweaters around their necks. This merge of lifestyles is reflected in the vehicle’s upscale design.

Developing the new tweaks for the limited-edition version, Fiat was inspired by the look of an “athletic yet style-conscious” modern man. The new edition follows another fashion-focused version launched by the carmaker in 2011 as part of its collaboration with Gucci. The colour scheme of the new car focuses on white, black and a splash of red.

The new limited edition Fiat 500 combines beauty and performance—it has the 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine, the dual exhaust system and new 16-inch split five-spoke aluminum wheels, as well as a plethora of branded features such as “Nero” and “Rosso” finishings of the caps in the middle of the wheels, a distinctive “GQ 500” badge on the B-pillar, the steering wheel wrapped in Nero leather with a contrasting Steam (white) inner leather ring, and more.

As to the interiors, the Fiat 500c GQ Edition includes “specially designed sport seats that accentuate style and strength, like a hand-tailored tuxedo.” The materials, used to create the comfortable and luxury feel inside the car, are Alcantara, leatherette and leather. For more sophistication and the craftsmanship feel, the designers also added Tungsten accent stitching and a “GQ” embossed in the seatbacks.

The 2014 Fiat 500c GQ Edition will be available in three exterior colours—Nero Puro (straight black), Argento (silver), Granito Lucente (granite crystal) and Bianco (white). The model will arrive in the FIAT studios across the USA in early 2014.

The FIAT brand created a limited-production edition with custom appointments that reflect an individual who always looks sharp, lives smart and finds freedom through the precision and turbocharged power of a driver’s car,” commented Jason Stoicevich, Head of FIAT Brand for North America, Chrysler Group LLC.
