Google’s “Here’s to the Moms” Campaign Celebrates Motherhood across the Globe

Google is marking Mothers’ Day with an online campaign dubbed “Here’s to the Moms” that invites the audience to celebrate their connection with the dearest woman in their life.

For Mothers’ Day, which is celebrated in May in most countries across the globe, Google has released a clip that comes as a collage of themed footage uploaded to YouTube. The film tells a very emotional story about moms who are always here, next to their children, in different stages of life. The film, set to Tim Myers singing “I just want to thank you,” is created to inspire users to share their own videos, photos and notes with the hashtag #HeresToTheMoms, online at g.co/mom.

The dedicated hub also features links to a range of Google services that may come useful these days in connection with the holiday. For instance, it invites to browse the Mother’s Day gift guide, schedule a Hangout with your mom on Google+, locate a florist on Google Map, create a circle on Google+ to share photos with just your family, and to teach a Mom tech with simple tech support videos.

The page with the suggested activities is minimalistic—the services are scattered on the white wall featuring colorful flowers. The “Here’s to the Moms” campaign was developed by Whirled, Los Angeles.
