Hendrick’s Gin Enchanted Forest of Curiosities Pops up in the USA again

As 2012 quickly approaches, brands are busy creating unique, charming and memorable experiences for their consumers ahead of Christmas. The Hendrick’s Gin brand, which is known for its extravagant ‘Monty Python’ style, is inviting its U.S. fans to get into the unique world of miracles and winter tales by visiting The Hendrick’s Enchanted Forest of Curiosities, which was first introduced last year in NYC and now for the first time has arrived in San Francisco for just three days, December 6-8, in SoMa. The exiting venue, which “took the city by (winter) storm with a snow-filled indoor woodland scene brought to life filled with oddities, bizarre performances, and even a West Coast-rarity of a twinkling firefly or two,” will make the next stop in Brooklyn, New York, on December 13-15, spreading the holiday spirit with its cute oddities.

Since it’s a forest, though quite a weird and magical one, visitors are able to spot there all range of things they may see in a regular forest such as chopped tree trunks, moss and even giant mushrooms, with the only difference—these Hendrick’s props are created with a magic twist, which enhances the atmosphere of the oddly sublime wonderland. The treats at the venue are served by woodland sprites, who are moving across the space to the intriguing and unusual tunes. In addition to that, guests can see sword swallowers, bearded ladies, forest creature window performances and an unusual performance by a Balkan Romani Brass Band.

The Hendrick’s Enchanted Forest is but a mere peek into the wonderfully peculiar world of Hendrick’s,” said Joanne Birkitt, Hendrick’s Gin Senior Brand Manager. “Nothing makes us happier than serving a tipple or two out of a wishing well while it snows over a mushroom garden growing indoors in San Francisco. We revel in the unexpected and love sharing the wonder of Hendrick’s in magnificently curious settings. This is but a small taste of what we will be bringing to many more cities across the U.S. in the coming year.”

The brand, which is a recognized oddity expert, has also released the first part of its catalogue entitled ‘A Most Unusual Year in Review,’ which reveals the 100 most unusual happenings from the year 2011.
