Hershey and the American Dietetic Association Join Forces to Educate Americans on Balanced Eating

The Hershey Center for Health & Nutrition® has become a partner of the American Dietetic Association in the corporate sponsorship program. The Center, which develops and supports cutting-edge scientific research for products and technologies to provide consumers with a range of snacking choices, will collaborate with ADA on consumer and health professional initiatives including an innovative, national consumer-focused nutrition education campaign.

The program helps ADA achieve our Association’s mission—to empower our members to be the nation’s food and nutrition leaders,” said registered dietitian and ADA President Judith C. Rodriguez. “Among the ways we accomplish our mission is by working with industry sponsors to include registered dietitians in the development of policies and products; sharing science-based information and new research with ADA members; and enabling ADA to reach millions of consumers with healthy-eating messages.”

The Hershey Center for Health & Nutrition recognizes the significant role that registered dietitians can play in empowering consumers with the information, tools and resources they need to achieve a balanced lifestyle. We are thrilled to be an ADA Partner in the Association’s sponsorship program and are excited to launch a national initiative designed to help people enjoy life well-balanced,” commented Debra Miller, Ph.D., Director, Hershey Center for Health & Nutrition.
