Great cars deserve great films. Jaguar is to reveal a star-studded film titled Desire, dedicated to the new two-seater F-TYPE sports car. The premiere of the short movie, which is starring award-winning British Actor Damian Lewis along with actors Jordi Molla and Shannyn Sossamon, is slated for March 2013.
“Jaguar is synonymous with some of the most iconic moments in cinematic history, and we’re excited about reigniting this powerful combination through a British led, world class artistic project. Our aim is to craft the most visionary and highest quality filmic product ever created in conjunction with a brand, as a platform for our most important product launch in 50 years, the Jaguar F-TYPE,” shares Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director, Jaguar.
“Desire” is a story of Clark (Lewis), a car delivery guy, who got an assignment to drive a car to a wealthy client. The journey gets an unexpected twist when the protagonist encounters a mysterious, young woman (played by Sossamon) in the middle of a desert, where law is nothing. The 15-minute film, “a story of betrayal, retribution, passion and greed,” will be shot by director Adam Smith from Ridley Scott Associates for five days next week in Chile, and over the coming weeks the brand will be posting new engaging content to keep the audience “heated-up” ahead of the film’s release.
The brand has also revealed a new highly dynamic online destination, which invites to get a sneak peek into the new product from the legendary luxury car brand. Scroll down the page for the full experience.
