Levi’s Opens Levi’s Meatpacking Concept Store and Tailor Shop

November 11, 2010 Levi’s celebrated opening of its premium concept store—Levi’s Meatpacking in New York City. This 4,500 square-foot venue is designed to become the ultimate essence of the Levi’s® brand’s spirit, complete with an in-store concierge and tailor shop.

Levi’s  Meatpacking will offer series of unique products including: Levi’s Vintage Collection (LVC) of old-time reissues, including replicas of 501s that date as far back as 1890 and limited-edition products, such as: Billykirk wallets, hand-dyed silk bandanas and scarves from Upstate, Levi’s®  Workwear by Filson Oiled Tin-Cloth trucker jackets. Moreover, the new Workwear by Pendleton® line, a finely-crafted capsule collection featuring the style and denim of Levi’s® and the authentic wool jacquard fabrics and craftsmanship of Pendleton’s iconic woolens will be available for purchase here.

The opening party attended by represenatives of mass media as well as loyal fans of the Levi’s brand was a great success. The special invitees, the all-girl band Vivian Girls, performed for the guests.

Offering a wide range of services, the store houses an on-site tailor shop specializing in denium repairs. Moreover, Levi’s Meatpacking will also stock a great deal of limited-edition clothing items, including archival 501 re-issues from the Levi’s® Vintage Clothing collection. A wide range of limited-edition pieces from collaborative collections (for example, Levi’s partnership with Pendleton) and even special items unique to the store.
