LG Portugal Releases the Third “Good Things Happen” Short Film, “Orion House”

LG Portugal continues the hilarious award-winning project dubbed “Good Things Happen,” which was launched this spring. This is not a traditional advertising campaign focused on selling goods, it’s rather an attempt to evoke strong positive feelings and make people “think differently” and take new decisions, following their intuition and soul, not just cold calculus. The two previous films, Moments” by Nuno Rocha, and “Something Good” by Rui Vieira—released in May and September correspondingly,—are now followed by a new meditative visual story “Orion House.”

This 6-minute short film, which was shot within just one day in London, tells an story about a man and a woman who have lost something very important in their lives—Daniel has lost his brother in a car accident, and Alexandra has moved to the UK from Portugal and it’s difficult for he to feel home in the noisy and big city, where everything is not hers. One day, they meet—maybe, to start something new together or just to start a new phase of their life. Despite the characters almost do not talk, the video is full of messages. In the end of the spot, there is an eclipse, when sun and moon come together just like these two lonely strangers have.

The new philosophical video was made by Fullsix and East-London-based designer, film-maker and self-taught photographer Christopher Hewitt, whose credits also include works for BBC and Discovery Channel.
