It will be feature the works of artist Georg Dokoupil hanging in the passage. In the heart of the store there is an elliptical baroque-styled staircase that provides an open view of the three levels of the store.

“In this historical venue, which has been dedicated to cinema for almost a century, we have taken up a cultural and architectural double challenge. Without taking anything away from the prestigious past of this symbol of the Eternal City, we are embarking on a distinctive project which combines exceptional craftsmanship, art and culture in time and space,” said Yves Carcelle, President of Louis Vuitton.

‘Roma Etoile’  will showcase the most prestigious creations of the House including luggage, exceptional leather goods, men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, watches, jewelry and accessories. There is also a screening room where short films, documentaries and original creations will be projected, says Stylecartel.

The first screening to premiere in this room is Handmade Cinema, a documentary produced by Luchino Visconti di Modrone, directed by Guido Torlonia. It will depict the passion the Maison has for the ‘craftsmen of cinema’. To prove its passion for cinema, LV has partnered with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, the oldest and most prestigious cinematographic school. The partnership will encourage the development of new talents.

LV continues its social media marketing activities on Facebook and its blog ‘New, Now’.
