Louis Vuitton “Paints with Ribbons” in the Mon Monogram Service Video

Louis Vuitton presents a fabulous 1:25 clip titled “Painting with Ribbons,” created by Christian Borstlap, to mark the launch of the Mon Monogram personalization service for small leather goods. In its turn, the service, which is now available on louisvuitton.com, is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Louis Vuitton’s Small Leather Goods.

The fabulous stop-motion video was created using real ribbons, which serve as paint for depicting an array of objects, from sea waves to insects and carnivorous plants—little LV accessories of all shapes and sizes from the brand get embedded in the colourful settings, which are transforming all the time. The brand invites its fans to play with the iconic small leather goods and add some colour choices and initials to the picture.

Rolling out ribbons like paint on a canvas, colours are brought to life in a cheerful and sophisticated way, as if we were tying a ribbon around one’s Louis Vuitton personalised wallet or desk diary. The ribbons sweetness and elegance perfectly contrast showing us fires alight, carnivorous plants, and other magic tricks,” says the brand in the description to the video.

Louis Vuitton loves to shot animateв videos about its new offerings or services. In summer, the brand released a video centered around the art of packing, and revealed a new series of clips to support the latest guide books.
