Microsoft is promoting its Windows Phone 8 in a new TV and online campaign targeting US women. The tech giant has signed four American celebrities, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, Cam Newton and Andy Samberg, to star in a series of ads, which highlight the mobile system’s features from the “feminine” point of view.
So far, on its official YouTube-channel the brand has posted videos starring Stefani and Jessica, with the clips featuring Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and comedy actor Andy Samberg will arrive later this month. The campaign is focusing on the way the celebrities arrange the icons on the Windows 8 Phone start screen to enhance their experience.
Jessica Alba is telling how she uses the phone to arrange her daily activities and in a separate video explains how she creates the Kid’s Corner on her smartphone to let the kids play on it without writing any letters or making any calls to people on the list accidentally. Gwen Stefani is narrating about her Windows Phone 8’ Live Tiles, sharing how she keeps connected with her friends and continues to be in the middle of creative process with the help of the Windows Phone 8 even while she’s on her tours.
