What will happen if you mix sport footwear and music together? Nike decided to find this out and approached Hifana, a Japanese breakbeat musical duo, with a request to create a real symphony of sneakers. The musicians turn the shoes into instruments and make them produce electronic sounds.

The text in the end of the spot says: “The NIKE FREE RUN+ is absolutely a running shoe. Shoes sold at retail will NOT make music when bent or twisted.” The mini-project for a line of the best shoes for running is developed by the Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo agency.
