Joggers and runners now can post route maps to Path and track their progress along them in real-time. For example, when you start running, your Path-connected friends will be informed about it and can support you virtually. They can add emoticons or comment on your run. A sound of real cheer will give you additional forces while you work out. When you achieve the set goal, you’ll hear this sound too.
The app also creates a running journal with maps that show the location where you did your best and details including the time and total distance.
Path also updated its Music Match app and Photos story section. Music Math resembles a popular iPhone app Shazam, letting users press record and identify a song playing around. The song can be shared with friends on Path. Photos section provides users with find upgraded versions of existing lenses and a new comic book-esque lens called Pow.
