Nivea Launches the ‘Kiss of a Style’ Design Contest

Nivea is offering its fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share their personal style and creativity on a cap of a lipstick. The cosmetics brand has launched a competition dubbed ‘Kiss of a Style’ on its Facebook fan page and is calling its US consumers to join in to develop a design for the Nivea Care Lip packaging for truly memorable kisses. The winning limited-edition design will go live and be featured on caps which will be sold in stores across the USA in early 2013.

To inspire contestants, the brand teamed up with celebrity designer, Charlotte Ronson, who developed her own white and blue, Scandinavian pattern for the cap and will also serve as the competition’s celebrity judge. The submission period is running from August 1 through August 22, and then a panel of judges will shortlist 10 finalists, and fans of the Nivea page will be asked to vote for one of them—the overall winner will be named on September 20.
