The Grammy Award-winning artist and mom has made her own rendition of the bedtime classic ‘Lullaby and Goodnight’ and Pampers made it available for free download on Pampers Facebook page.
Marking the release of the track, Pampers organized a special live ‘Pampers Lullabies’ event on June 27 in New York City at Espace. Celebrity parents with their babies, who gathered there for a live ‘listening party’ hosted by Jennifer Hudson, enjoyed a relaxing, cozy bedtime-style atmosphere. Babies could crawl on a special ‘teal carpet’ and parents could communicate and get to know about all necessary for a baby’s good night’s sleep elements such as a shining moon and twinkling stars, see plush bear stations and try out a special rocking chair lounge.
Now parents can download the ‘Lullaby and Goodnight’ tracks using Pampers Lullabies app on Facebook and starting next month they will be able to create their own lullabies for their babies tapping original Pampers musical post them to the Pampers gallery. Other parents will then listen to and share the songs with their friends.
Pampers will also donate $100,000 to Jennifer Hudson’s charity, the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, which supports moms, toddlers and babies.
“Music offers a powerful and emotional way to enhance the natural loving connection between parent and child,” said Fama Francisco, Pampers General Manager. «We are thrilled to pay tribute to the beautiful role of songs—and in particular to the endearing role of the evening-time lullaby—by teaming up with Grammy winner and mom Jennifer Hudson to offer parents a contemporary, fresh take on a bedtime favorite. The joyful spirit of music offers moms just one more way to express love for their little ones and ease their transition into peaceful sleep.”
