One of the most interesting and valuable events in the packaging design industry — PENTAWARDS 2009 Official Ceremony — will be held today, October 2, 2009!

More than 200 works made by agencies and companies from Europe, Australia, Japan, USA, Mexico, Canada and Russia will be awarded at the event, according to Jean-Jacques Evrard, co-founder of Pentawards.

Design agencies, brands, packaging companies from all over the world presented their works in 44 subcategories and 5 main categories: Beverages, Food, Body, Other markets and Luxury.

International jury, chaired by Gerard Caron, founder of Carre Noir (France) and publisher of the site www.admirabledesign.com, gave out several types of awards: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum Pentawards and Diamond Pentaward for the best work of the event.
