Musicians Kid Rock, Kelly Clarkson, Ice Cube and Travie McCoy are creating four original anthems and a remixed version of Wiz Khalifa’s ‘Black and Yellow’ will also become a part of the campaign.

Being the Cowboys team fan, two-time Grammy Award winner Clarkson has released her Dallas-themed anthem ‘Get Up (A Cowboys Anthem).’ She is the first of the artists to unleash her anthem. The other songs will premiere weekly and available for free download at www.PepsiAnthems.com until February 28, 2013.

Travie McCoy will present the New York Giants anthem, titled ‘All In.’ The track will be exclusively available at retail stores, including Wal-Mart, on specially marked 24-packs of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Pepsi MAX. Consumers will be able to download the song using the in-pack redemption code. Until September 24, fans can also visit the site for a chance to win a trip to the 2013 Super Bowl.

Actor, director and producer Ice Cube will perform the Oakland Raiders anthem, while 5x Grammy Award nominee Kid Rock will celebrate Detroit Lions.

The Pepsi NFL Anthems program will have the national POS displays and in-market POS support.  Some of the current NFL players including DeMarco Murray from Dallas Cowboys and Matthew Stafford from Detroit Lions will also take part in the campaign.

PepsiCo has partnered with the NFL for four years to become the sponsor of the Super Bowl Halftime Show and a multi-year deal to become the official soft drink of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
