Yesterday Procter and Gamble has unveiled the annual sustainability report and set 5 main goals to achive by 2012.
“Designed to Matter” company’s report features P&G’s progress in commitment to sustainability.
As the company states, the introduction of Ariel Excel Gel, which ‘works’ in a cold water achieved $13.1bn in total sales and reduced negative influence on environment. It aims to achieve sales of $50bn by 2012.
Supporting developing communities, P&G is leveraging the “consumer reach” of its brands to help people to enhance their lifes.
In this field Pampers brand partnered with UNICEF, while the Always and Tampax Protecting Futures programme aims to educate and support girls in the developing world.
