Picnic Eating Video Challenge: It’s No Picnic

The Cadbury‘s Picnic Bar has launched a sweet challenge «It’s No Picnic» for people who love to eat fast. The brand hasn’t been in the promotional field for six years and now, with the help of the George Patterson Y&R agency from Melbourne it came forth. The Australian Internet users can upload their 30-second video or record it from the webcam on the site, and have make a commercial. All the uploaded spots will be rated and the most stunning ones are going to be aired on the national TV.

The contestants can choose one of the 50 pre-recorded voice overs and personalize the video by adding your name (as for now there are 1,400 but you can also add yours no matter how weird it is). Thу creators are to show how they eat their bar — fast but carefully. The submitted spots are approved and then join list for voting. The website was opened on February 7 and the campaign will be on for the next 8 weeks.

The authors of the winning commercials will be contacted by the brand and told when and on which channel it will be aired.
