Aiming to build brand visibility, drive trial and ultimately increase rate of sale in the on and off trade during the busy Christmas sales period, the new ‘Corona Extra Summer’ pop-up beer garden will bring a touch of summer to London’s Southbank extending the ‘sunshine beer’s’ consumer reach while temperatures plummet outside.
It will be the UK’s first ‘summer in winter’ beer garden, built within a heated dome and guests can ditch their Fair Isle woollens and thick thermals in favour of t-shirts, shorts and flip-flops to escape the bitter cold of the British winter. Offering freedom from the hustle and bustle of the busy Christmas high street (and a promise of no Christmas tunes), guests of the ‘Corona Extra Summer’ pop-up will enjoy an experience built around the very best of summer holiday venues around the world all under one roof. Guests will also be able to swap festive favourite mulled wine for a bottle of ice-cold Corona, the perfect sunshine serve.
The ‘Corona Extra Summer’ pop-up beer garden will be open from Thursday, December 15 to Saturday, December 17 on Riverside Walkway at London’s Southbank between 1pm and 9pm each day.
