Samsung Announced the Program of the Annual Samsung AT&T Summer Krush Concert Series

Samsung Telecommunications America announced program highlights of the fourth annual Samsung AT&T Summer Krush concert series. The tour features nine well-known musical acts performing one-night-only concerts. The audience will be provided with an opportunity to experience the Samsung Infuse 4G exclusively at AT&T.

Samsung AT&T Summer Krush 2011 kicked off on July 20 with top country artist Luke Bryan free concert in Nashville.  2011 ACM New Artist of the Year, The Band Perry will continue the tour with a free performance at Gilley’s in Dallas on August 8.  Then, Bush will take to the stage at the Congress Theater in Chicago on August 18 with special opening performance by Chevelle.

In addition, Lenny Kravitz will celebrate his new album release with a performance at New York City’s Terminal 5 on August 31.  The tour finishes in Atlanta with The Avett Brothers, performing for free at The Tabernacle on September 9. Portions of select performances will air exclusively on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

The fourth annual Samsung AT&T Summer Krush concert series also offers an opportunity for new, unsigned musicians to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as the opening act for the highly-anticipated Samsung AT&T Summer Krush grand finale concert event in Seattle, WA.  The winners of the ‘Opening Act’ contest will perform in front of a national television audience and millions of fans across the country.  The winning band will also receive transportation to and accommodations in Seattle, and the title of ‘Samsung AT&T Summer Krush Opening Act.’  To apply bands may submit their live performance videos to the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush 2011 website where visitors can preview and vote for their favorite entries.

Other highlights of the event include an interactive iron-on T-shirt station, an area where guests can take photos with the featured phone for inclusion in the moving photo/twitter mosaic displayed on the stage draping. Consumers will also be able to play for Samsung and AT&T prizes, and compete for a grand prize of a Samsung Infuse 4G or a branded Samsung AT&T Summer Krush guitar.

Tickets are available via radio promotions, street teams, and online registration.
