There is no detailed information except of several screenshots of the Galaxy tab showing the pages of the app. Samsung is expected to give more details at Mobile World Congress 2012 next week.

For now, it’s only known that the platform aims to encourage individual learning using an automatic scoring system to boost additional motivation. The app can give not very attentive or disciplined students a chance to improve their learning skills. A document annotation will also be enabled with the app. The content is said to be provided for free.

The Learning  Hub may be competing with the new iTunes U app for Apple devices. iTunes U provides students with the world’s largest catalog of free educational content, offering over 20,000 education apps and thousands of books in the iBookstore.

Along with iTunes U Apple has unveiled iBooks with textbooks offering users an opportunity to create their own illustrated e-books with help of Apple software.

Samsung has recently released its new Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), the first Android 4.0-based tablet.
