Six up-and-coming artists, 13.2m beer bottles, 5.16m square feet of canvas—one 2013 Beck’s Art Labels Program

In its 26th year, Beck’s continues to discover promising, emerging artists that share the brand’s philosophy of creativity—through the program Beck’s Art Label. This year fans and collectors in the U.S. will have a chance to see seven new visual pieces printed out on the labels of 13.2 million bottles.

The thoroughly selected lineup of independent artists of the 2013 program is represented by Kid Cudi, Grammy-Award winning musician and actor; Marc Eckō, an American fashion designer and entrepreneur; Willis Earl Beal, a musician, songwriter and visual artist; TM Sisters, a Miami-based duo known for digital-video performances, collages, VJing and tech aesthetics;  William Hundley, a photographer and artist; and Date Farmers, an artist team that echoes Mexican-American heritage rooted in California pop culture.

Each of them is a boundaries-breaker who sees art as something that «finds you when you’re not looking for it,» one of the participating artists, Kid Cudi, says.

This is the second year the Program is held in the USA. Over the 25-year history, Beck’s has invited more than 70 art figures as well as artistic teams among which were Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, and Yoko Ono.
