Skittles Fizzl’d Fruits vs. Socks

The TBWA\Chiat\Day agency made a weird commercial for Skittles Fizzl’d Fruits, in which the older generation prefers to apply strange methods to make their tongue tingle. The new drops look like effervescent tablets covered with some acidic agent, which causes the fizzing reaction, when you take the candies on your tongue.

In the spot an old gentleman doesn’t want to take Fizzl’d Fruits from his wife, because he likes it more when a giant tube sock strikes him zapped into the tongue with static electricity. The bizarre creature is moving round the house, generating the charge by rubbing itself against the carpets. While he prefers this odd way of deriving satisfaction, his wife enjoys Skittles Fizzl’d Fruits in full.
