Sony launched its first ever Los Premios Bloggie™ and invites consumers to submit their most original home videos online and compete to become the first ever Premios Bloggie star. The 2010 Los Premios Bloggie contest recognizes the best online videos in Latin America across four categories: Sports, Comedy, Music & Dance, or Animals & Kids. Incredible prizes will be awarded, one for each category in addition to the grand prize trip for two to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. The contest begins March 25th and will run through June 14th in the Region.
The rules are simple:
1. Upload any video that you have created in any one of four categories: Sports, Comedy, Music & Dance, or Animals & Kids for a chance to win a Premio Bloggie. Video submissions will be accepted from March 25 through May 10, 2010.
2. All videos that comply with the rules and regulations will be available for viewing in www.sony-latin.com/premiosbloggie from May 17 through June 7, 2010. Anyone residing in Spanish-speaking Latin America can vote on their favorite video in each category during this time.
3. The video with the most votes in each category will be announced on June 9, 2010. The winning video in each category will be a Los Premios Bloggie finalist and will receive a Sony Bloggie™ PM5K, the newest fun and easy to use MP4 Pocket Video Camera in the market, and a Walkman NWZ-E443.
4. The four finalists will proceed to the final, where a panel of Sony Latin America judges will select the first ever Los Premios Bloggie final winner. The grand prize winner will receive the grand prize of a trip for two to the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final in South Africa™.
The voting community is also eligible to win. All you have to do is register on the Los Premios Bloggie micro site www.sony-latin.com/premiosbloggie and vote for your favorite videos. The person who votes the most during the entire contest, will win a Pocket Video Camera Bloggie PM5K and a Walkman NWZ-E443.
Los Premios Bloggie have been appropriately named after the newest, fun and easy to use Pocket Video Camera recently launched in the Region.
