For more than 30 years, since the Absolut Vodka was bottled for the first time the brand encourages creative minds all over the world by its brilliant marketing communications and bright ideas. One of them is the collaboration with the modern talanted artists started with Andy Warhol who painted the Absolut bottle in the «pop art style».
Today, having gone through numerous creative collaborations with the art, the Absolut Art Collection comprises more than 800 artworks by the famouse names such as Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, Louise Bourgeois, David Shrigley, Douglas Gordon, Sylvie Fleury, Dan Wolgers, Hung Tung-Lu and hundreds of other artists.
Finally the entire Absolut Art Collection has now been gathered in the brans’ historical home — Sweden at the new Historical Museum of Wine and Spirits. Later it is supposed to be moved to Djurgården in Stockholm, but not earlier than in 2011-2012.
The new landmark of the creative history, Absolut marks with the new collaboration with American filmmaker Spike Jonze, who embodies the brand’s future concept development.
