Louis Vuitton has tapped three urban artists to create unique prints for the brand’s Spring-Summer 2013 collection. The street art creatives have re-imagined the regular giant silk scarf to give it a pinch of fresh unconventional energy.

The women wardrobe piece comes in three different styles by Retna, Os Gemeos and Aiko (“love” in Japanese) with prints, which suit any look and fit any occasion. They can be found in the U.S. store of the brand in particular.

Today, clothing, footwear and accessories brands are expected to contribute not only to the development of fashion culture, but also to making the world a better place through supporting eco-focused and philanthropic projects. Michael Kors is joining this movement (H&M, Ralph Lauren, and many more) by launching a multi-year long-term partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), aiming to fight hunger in the world. This partnership come as a follow-up to previous local initiatives by the brand, aimed at eradicating the hunger issue.

A range of styles from the Prada fashion house and its Miu Miu brand influence the collection of dresses for the long-awaited Baz Luhrmann‘s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, which is to be released in May. Miuccia Prada has unveiled a series of sketches for over 40 looks for the movie, which were developed by the Italian fashion label and costume designer Catherine Martin. According to Vogue, each of the sketches is “inspired by the creations of Miuccia Prada from the archives of the last 20 years.”

Kenzo is rolling out the second phase of its “X Campaign,” launched in fall 2012, with same artistic approach and the same creative minds behind the project. For the latest—spring 2013—installment, the global fashion brand decided to once again collaborate with internationally acclaimed artist Jean-Paul Goude, who is helping accentuate Kenzo’s styles with his unparalleled creative vision.

Maison Lancôme teams up with Alber Elbaz, the head designer of fashion giant Lanvin, on a “deeply audacious” and “exceptional collaboration,” which is due to arrive in early summer, on June 15. So far, brands don’t say much about the upcoming make-up collection, but it’s clear that the new range will be very feminine since Lancôme celebrates “joyful femininity” with its products, and Elbaz’s “approach is naturally in tune” with the brand.

Ralph Lauren pays tribute to its own archives as well as to the rich history of the USA by launching a new destination, RL Vintage, where it unveils fashionable pieces drawn from the past. On the website, users can explore unique items to discover more about the story behind them, their origin and date of creation. Each season, Ralph Lauren will select different rare pieces from the House’s archives—the pieces will relate to some particular theme. The current range, The Western Collection, celebrates the history of the USA (some of the items are already sold out).

The Dewar’s blended Scotch whisky brand has collaborated with Freemans Sporting Club to create a special holiday kit, which embodies the brands’ style and attitude to true of male symbols. The whisky brand approached FSC to create a kit just for upcoming winter holidays 2012—the finished product is a great 6-pocket bag, handmade in NYC, which includes a range of travel essentials.
