Google has lent its homepage to promote a movie—the upcoming comedy film “The Internship” got a huge marketing support from the web giant, which placed the announcement of the Google+Hangout with the film’s co-stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson right beneath the search box on its main page, Google.com. The movie tells a story of two laid-off forty-something men, who are interns at a successful internet company (apparently Google), where their managers are in their 20s.

Red Bull examines the Internet’s influence on music in web-episodes entitled H∆SHTAG$. The series, created by Red Bull Music Academy, includes six documentaries, which will be streaming from January 30 through March 6 exclusively at www.redbullmusicacademy.com. The episodes star a bunch of experts, who explain how the deep integration of web has changed the contemporary music culture and continues to introduce new game-changing approaches, platforms, technologies, which rocket the industry to the next level.

A range of styles from the Prada fashion house and its Miu Miu brand influence the collection of dresses for the long-awaited Baz Luhrmann‘s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, which is to be released in May. Miuccia Prada has unveiled a series of sketches for over 40 looks for the movie, which were developed by the Italian fashion label and costume designer Catherine Martin. According to Vogue, each of the sketches is “inspired by the creations of Miuccia Prada from the archives of the last 20 years.”

Celebrated director Jonas Åkerlund, who collaborated with such brands as Stoli, Dior and Martini to name but a few, has created a movie for H&M. The Swedish apparel retailer focuses on style and exquisiteness in a new 5:45 film starring actor Joel Kinnaman, promoting the Fall/Winter 2012 collection for men. The brand tells a story of a guy, who is riding in a cab along rainy night streets of London and sees many interpretations of himself (even on banknotes and graffiti murals) everywhere in different apparel.
