To celebrate the 400th anniversary of its canal district, the city releases a set of designed bottles, Amsterdam Canal Aqua. Each of the four bottles is filled with water that is taken from the most recognizable Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Singel canals.

Johnnie Walker has released a new strikingly beautiful video featuring glasses to raise awareness of how dangerous drinking and driving can be. The 90-sec spot sees whisky glasses that, driven by magic, build up a race car and then shatter into a million sharp pieces. The Glass Car video by Iris Singapore and director Russell Appleford is launched to support the brand’s new effort, Join The Pact, inspiring consumers to sign a pledge to never drink and drive.

The U.K. edition of the global “Not Normal” campaign showcases different unconventional incarnations of MINI cars, which have been re-imagined by the brand’s fans for pleasure, not for money or fame. The brand has sourced around the web some images of the avant-garde MINI-inspired inventions—ranging from a cake to a “bug” MINI car with human legs— to turn them into ads.

Durex Australia has launched a global creative contest ‘Durex Naked Box’ to crowdsource design for the new condom pack. While the activity to which Durex products relate is better enjoyed in a couple (traditionally), the brand still can deliver fun to a broader audience as this contest and previous creative competitions prove. Johnnie Walker, which launched a massive campaign to celebrate Chinese visionaries and pioneers earlier this year, has introduced another installment of its ‘Step inside the circuit’ initiative, unveiled in January. The campaign was created to highlight the brand’s partnership with the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 team and pay tribute to the drivers with a series of short black-and-white films and a range of consumer engagement pieces like the ‘Step inside your ultimate drive’ extension, developed by iris Singapore and launched in July, or the new ‘Go Face to Face’ Facebook application.
