Microsoft Corp has unveiled Windows 8 developer version at Build, the company’s conference for independent developers that began yesterday in Los Angeles.

Leading technological companies love art and launch numerous initiatives revolving around creativity. Following Intel, which kicked off its awesome Remastered initiative earlier this year, and BMW, which collaborated with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, to name but a few, Samsung presented its SIM project in Portugal aimed at promoting creativity in the country. Starting May, the brand is collaborating with recognized artists and encouraging young creative talents from a range of industries to join in, become part of the grandiose movement, share their insights and win Samsung’s YES award.
Campaign Asia Pacific and research firm TNS surveyed 3,300 people in the 15-64 year old demographic to unveil the most popular brands in Asia Pacific. The top 3 turned out to be Sony, Samsung and Panasonic. Respondents from Australia, China, India, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand evaluated the brands in 72 categories.
On June 13, the worldwide Olympic sponsor Samsung unveiled its new logo to be used on all its London 2012 campaigns and advertising, including its sponsorship of the Torch Relay, for which it is a Presenting Partner. The presentation took place with the help of David Beckham, who signed up to be the Samsung London 2012 ambassador last month.
