The promotional effort uses the legendary “Make Love. Not War” slogan emerged back in the 60s as the maxim of the youth opposed to the Vietnam War. Now, half a century later, when the world is still shaken with war, AXE is determined to bring the motto back using its brand power to inspire the young generation.

The airline brand encourages travelers to explore new cultures not just by reading, but by delving into the very heart of it. The initiative, targeting the younger international audience, is rolling out on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook—it will feature inspirational stories from people who have already embraced active lifestyles and become keen travelers.

Toyota is launching a new campaign, “TeenDrive365,” to encourage parents to discuss dangers of distracting while driving with their kids who are young drivers. Today, distracted driving is one of the leading causes of death for teenagers. The US National Security Council estimates there have been 900,000+ car accidents so far in 2013 that were caused by drivers who were using their cellphones. While car brands constantly remind of the danger of texting and driving, it is parents who should explain kids how to behave behind the wheel.

TeenDrive365, Toyota’s biggest effort centered on the teen driving safety so far, encompasses all types of ad content, from print, radio, display and online ads to sponsored content on Twitter and Facebook and a digital hub, it’s key communication platform. The new effort, developed by the ad agency 360i, is focusing on the notion that the first year teenagers get their driver’s license is the most dangerous one in their lives. 

The spirits brand Pernod Absinthe and the electronic music record label and fashion brand Maison Kitsuné have collaborate for the second consecutive year to launch a new multi-faceted project. The creative effort incorporates passion for adventurous travels around the globe, music and offbeat design. Maison Kitsuné is releasing a series of five short music documentaries to tell the world how the brand’s creative team sources inspiration from various distant parts of the globe. To support the launch, Pernod Absinthe released a limited-edition bottle with an eye-catching artistic design by Maison Kitsuné.

McDonald’s is going to treat U.S. kids with books along with its traditional food in Happy Meal packs from November 1-14. For the literacy-boosting promotion, the fast food giant has self-published four children books featuring cute brand’s characters—no Hamburglar or Ronald McDonald are included. The books will replace traditional toys that usually go together with the Happy Meal boxes.

Levi’s new international campaign, “Make Our Mark,”  aims to evoke an inner artist in every person and links to the art project-on-the-wheels, “Station To Station,” which is now being rolled out across the U.S. through September 28. The new campaign, developed by AKQA , invites people to ponder over their creative identities and get inspired by a roster of experts in the fields ranging from music to writing to technology.

Lexus is launching a new installment of its Lexus Eco Challenge, designed to empower the younger generation to partake in making the world a better place to live through technology. The auto giant is encouraging teams of American school students in grades 6–12 to submit their STEM-driven submissions that potentially can help tackle Land/Water or Air/Climate issues. The entrants will be competing for a chance to win a share of $500,000 in grants and scholarships.

Samsung Australia teams up with celebrated director Baz Lurman (Australia, The Great Gatsby) and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) to spur filmmaking creativity among young talented minds. The brand is calling people aged 17-24 to join The Shoot for a chance to make a short film that will premiere at the Sydney Opera House during its 40th anniversary celebrations in late October. To develop the film, the creative team of the winners will be working cheek by jowl with professionals including Mr. Lurman and will be using a toolkit that will include the new GALAXY Note 3 and GALAXY Gear.
