Pedro Almodóvar’s collection of Illy coffee cups is growing. First the brand launched espresso cup line “Los Abrazos Rotos” (Broken Embraces), which was based on the director’s latest film of the same name, and then the collection was expanded by a set of 6-cup limited-edition inspired by other movies of the Spanish filmmaker.
The new pieces of Illy’s Art Collection are designed in both espresso and cappuccino cup versions. They all have images referring to the most well-known works of the master, both in palette and style. The cups’ design was created by Juan Gatti, an artist who makes graphics for the film-director’s creations.
