Volvo Announces Art Session in Zürich Main Station to Promote S60

Volvo is the next automobile brand that sets into creative collaboration with visual artists to showcase the bright identity of its latest model Volvo S60. Starting from February 9 and over 5 days, the car manufacturer provided the brand new white Volvo S60 to the group of 10 artists, designers and illustrators.

Each artist shall work for half a day to remodel the car and the settings (a room in Zürich main station), using a number of paints and sprays. The most interesting thing about the project is that each artist will have to repaint the car after their predecessor, which means he will have to repaint it over again.

The list of artists involved in the project includes C-Line, Pius Portmann, Blackyard, Nevercrew, Suki Bamboo and others. The progress of the project is filmed by a web-camera and anyone may marvel at the work of art by visiting the dedicated project website at www.volvoartsession.com. The final product of this collaboration is a movie that will be produced at the end of the project. Below are the photos taken in the beginning of the campaign by Michel Comte whose function is to document the progress using his camera.
