WWF compares endangered animals to Snapchat photos

The WWF continues to raise awareness of the plight of endangered species in select countries. This time the organisation’s Danish branch has joined forces with local UNCLEGREY and Turkish agency 41? 29! to launch the #LastSelfie campaign using contemporary trends to reflect serious issues.

In its new video the WWF has compared the threat of extinction of several species such as the tiger, orangutan and giant panda to images in a popular app Snapchat, in which photos live only for limited time.

«In a way Snapchat is a mirror of real life,» the text in the spot reads. «The images you see are transient, instant, unique, yet only live for a few seconds. Just like these endangered animals.»

In the end of 2013, the WWF involved Italian kids into the Pets4Pets project to create wild animals protection posters and commercials together from the beginning to the end.
