Zooey Deschanel Will Promote Pantene Beautiful Lengths Collection

Pantene widens its list of top celebrities that includes Liv Tyler, Naomi Watts and other stars by signing Zooey Deschanel, the Golden Globe and Grammy nominated performer good known for her trendsetting vintage wardrobe. Deschanel will feature in the brand’s new campaign promoting the Pantene Beautiful Lengths collection.

The campaign that kicks off in August 2012 includes TV and print advertising, in-store displays, iMedia and social media public engagement on Facebook and Twitter.

Deschanel’s appearance in the campaign will target a wide-ranged female audience, especially fans of indie band She & Him created by Deschanel and 500 Days of Summer and Elf where she featured in various roles. In addition, the performer is also a co-creator and contributor to the popular lifestyle blog Hello Giggles that reaches thousands of readers daily.

The Pantene Beautiful Lengths range includes a shampoo, conditioner, and 2-in-1 as well as two stylers and one treatment. All products feature Pro-V keratin protection formulas that help prevent breakage and split ends to help women grow their hair longer. During the promotion Pantene will donate over $1,000,000 to create wigs for women fighting cancer as part of its Pantene Beautiful Lengths initiative.
