The footwear brand Umbro named the winners of its creative contest Speciali Competition and has already made boots with the artistic soles. There were over 10,000 submitted designs to be chosen from and the brand picked out the most incredible and bold ones. The jury of a team of footballers, designers and boot specialists selected only 15 winners from the creative avalanche. The contest deadline was October 1, 2009 and now we can enjoy the results.

The SabMiller company commissioned Draftfcb Moscow with a task to create an ad spot for its Velkopopovicky Kozel brand for the Russian auditory. The video, featuring bottles with a new image of the goat (Kozel), the emblem of the beer brand, has a tagline saying “The same Kozel, different position”.
The 2010 Design Week Awards show will take place on March 2, 2010 at The London Hilton on Park Lane. At the 2009 New Designers ceremony, award-winning architect Amanda Levete told that there might be a financial crisis, but there is no crisis in creativity in the UK. Canon, the renowned photo-equipment producer, has arranged a creative contest for people who love when stories are continued. The competition at Vimeo.com is started by the photographer Vincent Laforet, who shot The Cabbie story on the basis of just 2 stills — one in the beginning and one in the end. This is the first chapter of seven, which are to create a real long story.
